What is the picture difference?
between a store bought projector a home made projector and a big screen TV.

it depends upon the projector.
Professional projectors range in quality, as do DIY projectors. 100" TVs off of ebay do not have very good quality.

I picked up a Infocus LP340b For $500 dollars. It says the bulb has 140 hours on it. To me the picture looks ok i guess. I dont have anything to compare it to. Will a screen make that big of a difference for me? Is anyone familiar with that model?
