already planned the circuit I suggested earlier. here's my planned circuit. duplicate it 31 times (with 31 different frequencies) and string them together in parallel. buffers added to simplify driving the many inputs. just need +/-15 and +5 for the LED's
there are two led's in parallel per output because those are SMD and 3mm LED's so I have a choice which to use.
any suggestions before I sent this to the boardhouse?

search for AGC (automatic gain control) circuits. using diodes will alter the harmonic content of the signal and mess up your readings.
