Pen Plotters

All,

yes, pen plotters are cheap on ebay and mine could have been one of them but i gave it away to my friend.
Pen Plotters and much more their pens considerably contributed to the state of madness i am in now 🙁

And they are not quick (plotting speed has to be set low in order to make the traces lightproof) not if one plot takes two hours and 5 miunutes before the end the plot is destroyed because one of the pens has decided to join the union.

Believe me, i have tried out any combinaion of plotter pens and differnt papers before i decided i had done a misinvestment. Results were sometimes nice, sometimes foul, no process reliablility achievable.

My current HP DJ100C inkjet also can drive me crazy, particularly because it is not to stop by any means on a paper jam, (haven't yet tried out an axe) but concerning PCB artwork, it does a very quick and proper job; i have the plot within 2 minutes. And my friend whom i mentioned earleir in this thread and who got my plotter meanwhile uses the plotter for multicolored artwork QC work, but not any more for plotting PCB artwork, for this he uses an HP inkjet.

Warning, those union-joining plotter pens can make you bankrupt, provided you still can find them.
