Dear Hive mind,
I have read many threads and spent many hours fixing my APT1. Yet I still have a problem
I have replaced the MPS-D51 in the "load impedance" circuit with a MPS-A92 (as suggested in many threads). Now the 560Ohm resistor R227 burns out. Previously, I had replaced the MPS-D51 in the SOA circuit (Q204) with a MPS-A92 AND this caused R217 to burn out. The A92 does not seem to replace the D51?! Any suggestions on how to solve this problem welcome.
I have downloaded the manual and the section 10.8 Load impedance set-up is missing, in fact pages 36-39 are missing. I have no idea why? If anyone has the complete manual I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Steve
@mikeAtx and @unclejed613 seem to be knowledgeable. If you are out there I would love to chat.
