I'm new to the forum. Hopefully when my knowledge increases I'll be able to join in on some the conversations around here. But for now all I have is questions.
I've recently learned ARTA and now I'm learning HOLM. I'm finding it fairly straightforward to learn but for some reason I'm stuck on the "time lock" feature. I need a step by step tutorial here as I'm just not getting it. I understand what the feature does just not the proper steps to using it properly.
Do I simply take my first measurement of the tweeter on-axis using measurement section A, then go to the Data analysis tab, click on "time lock" and "use", then go back to the measurement tab and measure the tweeter again and then measure the woofer in measurement section B? Should I use the tweeter and woofer measurements that were taken AFTER I clicked "time lock" and "use"?

Hmm. I thought there were a number of HOLM users here that might be willing to help me out. Guess not.

I do not use Holm but as I recall there was a discussion either here or at Partsexpress forum that described this feature. I think that you have to take a measurement and then set the lock feature so that all subsequent measures abide by it.
Thank you. I've search and searched for that discussion but can't find it. I read through over 50 pages on this board last night and couldn't find the answer. And an extensive Google search has not helped either.

I PM'd John K. over at the parts express board with this question because he's mentioned in the past that he's very familiar with this software. Hopefully he'll have the answer for me soon. I'm getting my Cross Spectrum Labs mic this week and would love to put it to good use. 🙂

The key you may be missing is probably the first step? It must be activated first.
The "locked offset" value can be set in other ways and the value can be change as needed to adjust the timing where you want it.
