Hi Jim, as I was saying earlier, you can't series these without loss of treble. Some mid range clarity is lost as well.

That has no basis in any theory. The theory is multiple drivers
will relatively lose treble independent of the way they are wired.
Treble loss affects midrange clarity.
With 8 drivers the coherent to random addition of output will
severely depress the treble output, independent of wiring.

I am no expert, but my ears are excellent. Wiring two in series has a detrimental effect on clarity with a significant reduction in upper frequencies.
I doubt my icepower will like 1 ohm!
