Hello!
The 2SK135 and 2SJ50 is very old fets, don't produce them. Use 2SK1056 or 57 or 58 and 2SJ160 or 61 or 62 types. Maybe good the Toshiba fets also: 2SK1530 and 2SJ201.
Sorry my bad english.

About SK135 and SJ50,
I've seen them in the market lately, so I guess Hitachi has begun producing them again. It cost about US$ 30 a pair here in Indonesia.

Check these!
I have 37 pairs of 2SJ50, 2SK135 for sale.
One good advise these days: Avoid the TO3 can. Very unmodern and harder and harder to get. Use the one in plastic.

Don't excuse yourself for bad english. The main thing is that you make yourself understood.
Listen everyone with bad english: We ask nicely again if we don't understand what you mean.

Maybe the not english native people more🙂
Dear sianturi
The 2SK135 and 2SJ50 fets more than 15 years old type and more expensive than other types. The 2SJ160/2SJK1056 pair cost in Hungary about 18US$. I think it's prices everywhere is similars.
Thank you!

I saw today that www.soundvalves.com now have both of these for 12.00 ea. Great news for those with T03 Hitachi blues!

I misread
The soundvalves guys sell a 'euro' mosfet for $12, they are using this in a new Hafler 500 amp. Still being able to get a semelab/magnatec what ever without having to deal with US Farnell is good news anyway.

The newer plastic ones from HITACHI are exactly the same as the old TO3 ones.
The specs are just the same only the house is different.
It,s not that difficult to use the newer ones instead of the older to3.
You can even replace (by a failure) the old ones i just do that in an counterpoint amplifier.

So you know what the cross reference is on the Counterpoint amplifiers? What I mean, is the Fet in the Counterpoint amplifiers seems to be of custom labelling or manufacture. Do you know which Fet it is equivalent to?

All the Counterpoint amplifiers I have seen used IRF types, not compatible at all with the Hitachi type.
The designer guts the amplifier and uses ON Semiconductor BJTs for repair.

It can be done, but requires replacement of all output devices
and quite a bit of readjustment of bias circuit and other values.
Not trivial, but not that difficult, either.
