Correction/clarification.

On most amps, the negative speaker terminal is connected to the secondary ground. That's not the case with this amp. Connecting a load to the output will ground the other half if one side is shorted low-side drain to source. With neither half shorted, the speaker load does nothing.

Shorting the low-side drain-source on both drive section (A and B) is the best option.
 
Typo? Since others will read this....

The low-side drain (which is connected to the high-side source) and low-side source need to be shorted to view the high-side drive signals. You are essentially grounding the high-side source so it no longer floats. This is only to be done with the output FETs out of the circuit.
