Five years ago, I came here looking for bookshelf speaker recommendations https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/first-timer-select-a-low-budget-bookshelf-design.325334/ and built a pair of Dave's mPluKen7 cabinets with MarkAudio Pluvia 7 drivers. They have been an absolute listening pleasure ever since, paired with a 2x20W homebrew chip amp. I love them to death and many people who hear them comment on how good they sound.
Recently I have been wanting more volume than that combination can provide for dance parties in our large house for my teenage kids. The little bookshelf speakers reach their limits and begin to distort before everyone gets fully into the music.
I love the immediacy and clarity of the one way full-range drivers. Are there drivers and cabinets that I could be considering for more volume but a similar clear, clean vibe? The music (unfortunately) would be overcompressed pop songs mostly.
The only.touchstone I have for how much power I'm thinking about is the standard 50W (?) home stereo amp and 3-way floor standers like we used to use in high school at our friends houses for parties.
Sorry if this isn't a very well formed question, I'm happy to provide more details if there's something I've left out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can offer. DiyAudio steered me so right 5 years ago, I will always be grateful.

Sometimes size matters, especially when you want to party. Check out the CHR-120. https://www.markaudio.com/online_shop/ch/chr-120/I love the immediacy and clarity of the one way full-range drivers. Joseph Crowe did a simple vented box for his test & review, or you could try one of the many box plans listed on the Mark Audio site. The Pensil 120 might be a good place to start. With 50 watts, it should produce pretty decent volume and bass.

You ideally need a three way, so this comes to mind and add a sub as required, though may need some minor tweaking to get them a bit more 'civilized' vs the MA that's basically a large tweeter: https://www.fane-international.com/downloads/Fane-FC152F01TC-DS240717.pdf
