high voltage delay

Hi together

I am new here in this forum. Sorry for my english.
I bought for 4 weeks ago a tube amplifier as kit from Boyuu (EL34).
Befor I beginn with built the amplifier I have read in many forum that many people are speaking about time delay for the high voltage. My amplifier has a tube rectifier and not a semiconducors rectifier. I ask me if it is necessary to built in a time delay for the high voltage because the rectifier tube need also time to become warm. Is my thinking correct or not ?

best regards

The short version : No

The longer version : No, it's not needed and might even be damaging.

OKay thank you for your very fast answer Petertub. I can now go ahead with the assembly of the amplifier.

What might be of value is one or more "bleeder resistors" that will unload
the B+ caps, this to prevent lethal voltage when working with the amp.

Some 100k might be a starting value, they might get warm during usage

thus a 2w mounted "airy" might be suggested.
