Hifonics Zeus ZXi 6400 MKII

Hi,

Have a Hifonics Zeus ZXi 6400 MKII that I want to use in bridge for some front mids. Have already ordered some caps to upgrade the power delivery side. But found out that the two resistors close to the pre-amp are getting nearly red hot during operation. How can I fix this hot issue? Replacing with higher wattage maybe, not sure. Any ideas? Also could not find any schematics for this amp.

They seem to be 3.5k Ohms 5% maybe 2-3 watt not sure:

Two on the left before the preamp/crossover board.

If the 15v Zeners that they're feeding are within tolerance, the heating is likely normal. Large resistors are used where high power dissipation is normal. They have more surface area and therefore a better ability to dissipate heat.

Using larger resistors will make them run only slightly cooler (if they are the same value).

Using P=E^2/R, you can measure the voltage across them and their measured value (out of the circuit) to determine if they're dissipating more than rated power.
