Please if you have any tips or tricks to show me or even have a guide in making one please help me. You can contact me by my email addy at rob1231@hotmail.com

Hey, Welcome to the Forum!
I think that its best if you look around (search) the forum through previous ps1 lcd projectors.
Good to see some more Canadians around here, esp. Ontarians (is that a word?)
Cheers,
Alex
P.S. Parts arent very easy to get in Ontario for diylcd projectors. Unless you order online, or are lucky enough to find good parts locally.

yes I think Ontarians is a word for us but i really dont know. But I was just wondering if I could make a projector with peices that I already have liying arround my house like some powerful pot lights because I really dont need that much light to come out and I want to know how to wire up the video signal. I have tryed to find diagrams but I was unable to.

hi rob
im 14 too and im making my projector using a 75w dicloric bulb that u can find in a pot light. and found they take alot of testing but once you get it set up right they work well as i am only using a psone lcd screen i dont need much like output but you need to remember you are likely to lose up to about 90% of the light output through the lcd. so pick your light carefully And what sort of lcd are you going to use.???

Ps1 lcd for it unless you know of a cheaper better choice that I dont have to make my own video in or power source.

A psone lcd would be your cheepest option for your projector. and to wire up the video signal for a psone screen the easiest option would be to use the video in scoket on the back or if your psone screen if it doesn't have one you can use the connector that you plug the psone into but i cant remember which two wires it is sorry. but if you have the lead with the RF box i know that black and white wires are the video channels so you transfer that to the connector on the lcd screen and try that. but you would need to transfer it to the connector you plug straight into the psone and not the connector on the back used to plug the lcd into the tv.
