Start by giving us some information on your item of equipment, and of the ancillary equipment you are using it with.

I think this is a non-technical person, so the best advice is to check the source, the connections, and the controls.
Refer to the manual to verify the proper settings. What do the indicator lights say?

It is unlikely that anyone other than a highly experienced technician can repair this amplifier, if it is defective.

Its a medium power class AB amp of the type I learned to repair by myself. The only part in there you can't buy a substitute for at farnell or digikey is U100 U103 the dual PNP transistor. As an input part, it is not likely to be bad anyway. I don't even use a scope or signal generator. just a DVM, analog AC voltmeter, & portable FM radio.
What is certain that the Class D modern amp with switcher supply you could buy as a replacement, cannot be repaired by amateurs. ~5000 hours then off to the dump with it. Less if it is not pro grade.
I repaired my first transistor amp using only the GE Transistor Manual 6th edition (1970). Badly, it put out 1/6 rated wattage. I didn't even have a schematic diagram. Then with help from diyaudio posters I got it to 125% of rated wattage & improved the sound, too. Now you can buy community college approved electronics texts that are much better.
