Hi audio enthausiastics,
My nickname is Speeddragon, but my real name is Nick.
Since i found a kenwood/trio ka-1500 at the attic I am into audio (that's about 10 years ago when i was 10 haha).
I've picked up a lot of amplifiers at the trash and repaired a lot of them (first only fuses/ components that were easy to replace). But when I was 15 I bought my first soldering iron. Replacing caps/ potentialmeters / broken resistors etc.
But I've never been into troubleshouting, I also didn't know there are several stages in an amplifier and that's what i want to learn.
So that's why I registred! (and i also have another kenwood ka-1500 that's not working properly)
Greetings Nick
p.s
amplifiers that I have owned)
kenwood ka-1500
Rotel ra-1412 ( is in the repairshop because I found it to difficult and I didn't knew this site haha)
Beocenter 2100
Sansui 2000x (is to a friend of mine, because he had to much scratches/missing buttons)
Marantz model 2252 (sold it to a friend after recapping)
Denon dra-825r (in use now, not pretty powerful or nice, but its reliable)
