Hi there

I'm based in the UK and have dabbled in DIY guitar effects for a while now. Now looking to put together my first hi-fi amp. Any tips on good UK suppliers gratefully received.

Farnell an Radio Spares are excellent too but you pay more and have delivery charges. I wouldn't recommend auction sites as a source of semiconductors. Way to many fake devices around.

Thanks for the tip! Up to now I've tended to stay away from the bigger suppliers. Most of my guitar related builds have been on strip board and I have used some of the specialist suppliers as a more or less one stop shop. It might be time to branch out.
