Hi,
I'm Michel fron the Netherlands.
Enthousiast in: audio, electronics, hamradio, dig. photography, geocaching etc.
In the past when I almost didn't have any money I modified and modified some cheap stock speakers I had.
I did build a lot of filters, linkwitz was my favorite, testing phase behaviour in the crossover frequency using FM-noise from my radio (didn't have other equipment then my ears). Also built series filters with good results. Furthermore I modified the woofers using glue for glueing wood (the white stuff) on the surface to successfully make the paper woofer cone more stiff ;-)
Now I just bought a pair of ITT D235 SD speakers (posted in another thread already). Using google I landed on this internetpage/forum and totally forgot to introduce myself.
OK. I hope to learn from and share experience with other people interested in this endless hobby.
