hi everyone!
its my first ever post on this forum 🙂
i would like to say that this forum is great with lots of information and people helping each other... i hope i'll enjoy it 🙂
i have a little question about a little circuit i want to build to amplify fm radio signals (so stations would be heared more clearly and wont fade in and out as i drive around)
i've got this small circuit on PDF.... i would like to build it and try it with my car radio... but i wanted to make this 2x so i get a very strong singel amp with my fm radio..
i wanna know it and how i can make this circuit more powerfull?
maby make two of this and some how put the two together into one piece?
anything possible?
(PDF circuit attached so you can look and see for your self)
any help appreciated..

Don't think you would want anymore gain than what you could get with this cuircut. This amp will increase your signal 4 times. The problem is,that it will also any noise or "hiss" by 4 times! Good Luck
thanks
thanks for the reply mate! you helped me decide what not to do with this circuit... lol 🙂
about the noise thing.... do you think if i'll use a white noise filter over the output (to speakers/amp) it will help to reduce the "hiss" noise when it ocours?
any help appreciated

Try using low noise VHF transistors..BFR series..or dual gate Mosfets..by adjusting the bias one can achieve good S/G ratio's
