Thanx for that. I've had Hp25 (ended up lost in an ex's glovebox, Hp11 (died) and now HP42 (needs battteries)... the HP11 emulation on my Mac has been in daily use

Fascinating. I never even heard of an RPN until I met Planet10. It was unheard of in our school *shrug*
1st calculayot i ever used was some megabuck HP that my dad brought home from work circa 1970, so i learned RPN from the get go...

I think so... when i switched to OS X i had to search out a new calculator... the current OS actually has a decent RPN calculator.

My wife has been trying to get me to switch to iPhone but I resist, this might change my mind. Last week I put a bunch of junk on my HP11C and envoked an Easter egg that put it into a farkled state. Amazingly, I typed HP11C and the junk on the screen into Google and instantly found the fix.
I still have the HP-16C "Computer Scientist" calculator
I bought it in 1985 and I'm still using it.
The batteries were replaced last year.
