Hello,
I have made a script to help on the decision of bias for tube amplifiers. The script plots the load curves, maximum dissipation curves and plate characteristics. It also estimates the bias in mA to keep the class A load line under the max dissipation, the HT voltage to keep the class B load line under the max dissipation, the power of the amplifier in class A and in class B. It is configured by changing the variables in the script, it is free to use, and should run on all platforms, as long as you are familiar with the terminal. To plot the characteristics, the user has to manually enter them from the datasheet, and this only works for pentodes right now, but it is not required for the rest of the functions.
Here is the link for anyone who might want to check it out.
