Help Me!
I have been around the DIY site for some years, mostly just reading, asking a few questions.

I have had a hard time deciding where to post this. Is it considered OK to post in several sub forums?
I need some help making up my mind in regards to audio projects for this coming fall and winter. First priority when we get home after our sabbatical, is to reduce the dc offset in my lm 3875 amp.
A bit of background follows. I have built 2 amps, a Zen 4 (several years ago) which I loved but began having problems with, and also as a first build, she was considered ugly by all but me. Also, the heat-sinks on the Zen are large enough for a bigger class A amp. Last winter I built Peter Daniel's lm 3875, which sounds very good with my BK12s, but even compared to the Penultimate Zen is lacking in some qualities to my uneducated ears.
I listen to a variety of music including jazz, folk and r&b and rock (Diana Krall to Alvin Lee to Yes). My first question is "Can one system do it all?" Mostly I listen in a small to medium sized room. I am the only critical listener so my favorite chair can be positioned in the "sweet spot". Mostly listen at moderate to slightly loud levels, but sometimes like to "rock out" for an hour or two. I love sit in front of the fireplace late at night with an IPA and just be absorbed by the music. The BK12s I built last winter are my first full range speakers. I am captivated by the sound. At first they taught me what "shouty" means, but either they broke in or I did.
More questions:
I like the idea of the double back loaded horns with an 8" driver and maybe a super tweeter?
Or keep the BK12s and build some low bass and subs powered by the chip amp?
What Amp to build?
F5 in one of its many forms?
PP tube amp?
I am using a Bottlehead Foreplay III for a preamp.
