Drop Voltage

If I drop voltage to 24W.


Would I be OK with one of these?

There are two versions of this small factor PSU :

Single or Dual rail
You need to ask for the vendor the single rail version.

Contact Hisonauto shop to provide you the appropriate model ! The guy can do any PSU on request.

You could use a dual rail but if you do it you have to update the output caps : Make sure that the value of the new caps exceeds the value of the desired current, a double rail PSU has a shared ground example : a 24V dual PSU can provide 48V (but the output caps need to be @ 63V minimum in this case).

I've checked over this PS and it has only 2 amps, Would this be enough?

I've asked the supplier to supply a single voltage PS. I've heard nothing from him so I might end up with ordering another one.

Mean Well LRS

Yes I've bought a Mean Well but only the LRS 100 24 as my enclosure will not take anything bigger. I don't need the extra watts as I'm feeding 8ohm. I'm not sure what the other supplier will send me. So I might have a 500w Dual PS to sell.😀...or I feel another project comming on.

Meanwell LRS100-24......... good choice of voltage and power , should give you approx 35W into 8 ohms each channel .
