I am currently repairing a Velocity VD-504 full-range class-D amplifier which was in protection mode. On one channel at least the output mosfets and certain SMD parts are defective.
Attached is a circuit diagram indicating the badly damaged components (circled), and a photo of the inside of the amplifier. Would it be a good idea to change some other parts as well in order to prevent the amplifier from breaking within a short time, as the owner claimed had happened after being repaired by the importer?
Which diode can be used to replace diode 1ss355, since it seems to be impossible to purchase these diodes anywhere in Finland?
