Hi everybody,
I am a newbie to this forum and also to audio. I recently had the opportunity to acquire a Copland CSA28 imtergrated amp and am looking for a pair of speakers to match. Could someone be kind enough to give me some valued opinions, especially great if they could recommend some budget or mid range speakers. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at DIY, if some kind person were to offer some schematics.
Thanks.

Have a gander at these pages. Some nice designs, all pretty well documented and fairly inexpensive.

Thanks a lot, that site is a real good start. Do you happen to know of any sites with some schematics for Harbeth speakers? Heard a pair today and they sounded nice. Thanks again.
😀 HI, I doubt if you will find anything on HARBETH on the net nor do I think you will be able to clone 'em as the drivers apart from the tweeters are custom units either made in-house or by outside mfctr nor do I think that they will sell any drivers as spares.... sorry best to start with a clean sheet and hope that you come up with something you like[ or near the harbeth's ] keep your fingers crossed😉 and hope for the best but otoh there is no harm in trying to get some drivers from harbeth and see what their answer will be
cheers TC

That explains why there are no Harbeth's schematics that I have come across. Thanks Qwad. Any suggestions for DIY to match the Copland.
GnD, thanks. I am thinking of trying out the Hatt MkIII. How far has your project gone? Care to share your opinions when it's completed. Thanks a lot.
Try Proac 2.5 or Scanspeak Ref
I have heard the Copland 401 (tube integrated).
Sound great on the Proac 2.5 (2 way) or Scanspeak Ref Plus (3 way). Both use expensive Scanspeak drivers, but will match the quality of your Copland equipment. Vifa and Peerless drivers are cheaper, but not same standard as Scanspeak.
Good luck
