Help with Sub project

Hello,
I'm looking for some help with a sub project I want to build.

Because of "spouse factor" it must be built into/under the coffee
table , and I have calculated that I have a maximum of 84 litres
available internally.

The driver I have is a 15" , 4 ohm with the following published specs :

p=300wrms
92.0 SPL
Re=3.499ohms
Fs=24.38hz
Qms=2.056
Qes=0.344
Qts=0.295
Vas=187.9 lt
Xmax=11.5mm
Voice Coil = 75mm , Alloy frame , Graphite coated paper cone , butyl rubber surround.......

I want to use for HT and don't mind if it is sealed or ported. I'm not sure which is best for this driver.......

Any help is appreciated.
Andrew

Grab yourself a copy of WinISD- it is easy to use and quite efficient for modeling.

With this program, and a ported 80L box, I get that you will have a linear response down to about 44Hz and a -3dB point of about 35Hz.

Sealed has -2dB roll off at about 60Hz. I would go ported... and I am actually building an HT sub right now, a sonosub. BUt things are not going so well for me... amp problems. 🙁 Good luck.
