Hey! I'm what you could call a newbie to car audio. I did as much research as I felt needed until I finally decided on this sub setup for my 2018 Silverado. My setup includes Dual brx1044 Memphis Audio subs, 2000 watt skar amp, and a sealed enclosure box (couldn't find ported) that fits under my backseats. Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Here are the links for a closer look.
Subs : Memphis Audio BRX1044 Bass Reference Series 10" dual 4-ohm voice coil subwoofer at Crutchfield
AMP : Skar Audio - RP-2000.1D | 2,000 Watt Class D Monoblock Car Amplifier
Box : 2014-2018 New Body Style GM Crew Cab Dual Downfire Box

The choices look fine, though I might opt for a cheaper subwoofer driver with more available information for design/modelling purposes, like this one.
Dayton Audio RSS265HO-44 10" Reference HO DVC Subwoofer
I'm curious though - are the subs downfiring? Where does the box vent out to the cabin? The pictures don't make that very clear.

BTW, I've tried all different sorts of subwoofer enclosures in my car, and I keep returning to plain old sealed - gets the job done in the smallest box, and if I want more output, I use more subs 🙂.
