I have to sets of pretty nice speakers. I have a pair of Ess amt1's with the 10" speaker and a pair of Pioneer cs 99a's. Both are in pretty good shape. I have read that they are both pretty good speakers but not great. I have also read about someone that has taken the Heil AMT off of the ess speakers and installed them on the Pioneer speakers. A few questions if you have any input or opinion please join in.
1. Is it worth the effort, will the speakers joined together really make a nice speaker?
2. If yes to number 1, do you have any expertise in this matter. Instructions, web pages, photos of previous types of jobs, any tips?
