Night Cap
Antique Electronic Supply, perhaps you already know of them. I've purchased from them for several years now. Fast delivery and when I had a problem they resolved it promptly.
The radio restoration techs will occasionally re-stuff the original can with new caps like you did. Very cost effective.
My bad call on the filter cap. I had been thinking of the 5U4GB series. Even that recommends a 40uf filter cap. There is a very good site for analysis on the Champ circuit, which according to that source, only used 8uf caps in the filter section, but that may be with a 6V6 output tube. I'd have to read it again.
