Hi all, hoping someone might be able to assist me here. This is my first venture into DIY audio.
I’ve purchased a raspberry pi streamer kit from Ian and am having issues getting it to play music/ my DAC to recognise it.
It is this kit here: https://iancanada.ca/products/flags...rk-music-streamer-kits?variant=47606889185580
The one that comes with the HDMIPI Pro II
I have my Holo Spring 3 i2s set to Alt 2
Have Ropieeexl installed and roon can see the endpoint with certain HAT settings (I’ve been using Raspberry pi default i2s).
This is the HDMI cable I’m using: https://www.jaycar.com.au/concord-0...hHlge7agwbTutWWPfyrPlS_dAV6MKYBSqKNcsiolhPbNv
I’m using the ifi ipower mk2 to power it.
Here’s a few photos of the build in case there’s something visually that I might have done wrong
Thanks all

Can't tell from your pics if the two clocks are lighting up with their green LEDs? If they aren't lit up, then you may not have the power connected properly to FIFO_Pi, and or you might have plugged in the clocks backwards. In the latter case the clocks could be damaged and need repair.
Not all HDMI cables are good for I2S-over-HDMI. Some newer cables use signal conditioning chips or filters that break the I2S spec.Hi all, hoping someone might be able to assist me here. This is my first venture into DIY audio.

You were right about the fifo pi not being connected correctly, turns out one of the wires wasn’t screwed in and was sitting in there loosely. Thank you. I’ve now got it up and running. Next mission is to get DSD working. Cheers
