When using toroidal transformers normally used in power amps and halogen lamps, I have noticed that I can hear music coming from the transformer itself. This is with the esl stator and diaphragm disconnected. It sounds a little hissy and a little like faint music. Has anyone else noticed this or possibly have an explanation?
