Hi All DIYers
Im planing to upgraded the crossover on my polk S15 Speakers.I would like any recommendation on parts o any suggestion related to the upgrade.
Crossover components
1 Iron Core Conductor no known or visible value
1 air core inductor no known or visible value
1 electrolytic cap at 27mf 50 v
1 polypropylene cap at 8.2 mf 100 v
2 sand cast resistor 5w 1.8 ohms and 5W 3 ohms
These are the values i have im wrong in some values please let me know
I want to keep same values just upgrade components

I see no need to upgrade any of the crossover components in this modern, affordable loudspeaker.
The components are pretty good for a loudspeaker at this price point.
As the 27uF capacitor is new, I don't think replacing it will result in any audible improvement.
I would leave well enough alone in this case.
