Hello forum. I'm trying to build this classD amp but IR2110 is destroyed every time (maybe fake?).
Problem is about IR2110 and output fets. i'm using IRFP450 and rail voltage is +/-42vDC. 2x 200wRMS at 4ohms for my car is good enough.
IC1 LM311 comparator working weak with +/-3vDC, check it on scope. maybe need +/-12-15vDC?
Q1,2,3,4 differential amp works fine about high / low output but with BC556, not 2N5401 from schematic, check it on scope too.
IR2110 isnt wake up from shutdown. I've try anything like SD pin on +12v, GND, 15v, 18, 22, 24 zener insted 12v (Q3 / DZ2) without any result.
Also check the datasheet to understand what logic need the SD pin to wake up the IC. I cant understand, logic 1 or 0? constant voltage or pulsed?
Fets are ok. LM311 are ok. differential amp is ok.
Q3 and IR2110 getting hot arround 2-3 minutes and boom...
My pcb is without errors. is triple checked.
Similar amp is from APEX D200. Output inductor is tested at 32uH and caps are good quality like Nippon 105celsius rated.
