Hi, I've just repaired an old A3I I got hold of and whilst it seems to be working now I have a couple of questions: -
1. what is the correct setting for bias current
2. with the amp at idle there is a noticeable buzz from the transformer, is this normal or an indication of anothe fault?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I choice 30 mA idle current for Sanken's output power stage. The noticeable buzz from the transformer is often present. The reason therefore are only mechanical effects of the transformer itself (no electrical reason like mains DC or transient components).
