A12p doesn’t really work that well in a reflex that large. Optimum is 15-20 litres. But the driver likes big boxes not only to produce bass but to get the most out of the midrange.
So a biggish ML-TL, TL, or horn is suggested. Pensil, Joan, Avebury for example.

Alpair MA 12P offset driver [OD] MLTL, ~42 Hz Fb, ~30 L w/2.5 ohms series R or high out impedance amp to flatten it to Fb [if desired] or calculate a BSC filter. Hornresp sim attached.

Don’t have super pencil, regular pensil hits mid 30s F10, low 40s F6 in the sims.

As pre-treatment before EnABLing i do put a coat of thinned ModPodge/Puzzlekoat on them.
It, AFAIC, does help things out as long as it is well done.
