Hello all,
This is my first post here so please let me know if there is a better area to post this in.
My dilemma:
I recently purchased Samsung HWE450 (40" Slim AirTrack SurroundBar - 280 Watts, 2.1 Channel, 2-way Speakers, Bluetooth). It is a sound bar with a wireless sub. I was actually presently surprised with the sound bar but the subwoofer is so grossly underwhelming that I at first thought it was off or broken. After putting it up to its max setting I can still only barely hear it working. My questions are:
1 Is there anything I can do to boost the current sub's performance?
2 Is it possible pair a better sub with the sound bar?
3 Can I remove the wireless module from the current sub and transfer it to a decent powered sub?
The outputs on the sound bar are limited so there is no subwoofer coax port or anything like that as an option.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions I would be very happy to hear because this is driving me nuts!

Sub placement is everything... try moving the sub to a better spot... you could move the module from the Samsung unit to a better sub for sure. I would say it would even be possible to use another receiver, on the same Fq, to use any sub you want... Find out what Fq and channel it is on... Let me know and I will see if I can find one in the right configuration...Pairing a sub I think is a bad idea, as the weak bass is likely due to an underpowered system... Buy a decent sub and amp, then connect the wireless module to it. PM me and I can give you more specific advice, if you like...
