Help: What is this component?

Hello, I am working on a board and am not sure what type of component this is? Think it may be a capacitor of some type but not sure?😕

Siemens polarized capacitor 33uF 10VDC.
Replace with a Nichicon 33uF 16V

Thanks for the help! First time I have seen one of these, just being curious what type of capacitors are these?

It's either electrolytic or tantalum, but definitely polarized.
Very old part made in Germany, or nearby.

I have some Sanyo Oscon 33uf 20volt caps, do you think they would be okay?

It is an encased solid tantalum type.
Oscon should be OK, unless it is used in applications like timers, where the leakage current matters

I was thinking it was probably a tantalum but wasn't sure. It was in a voltage regulator circuit so hopely the Oscon's should work. I appreciate your help!
