Help w Morel-Renaissance Speaker Specs

I'll try to diagnose my Duet next time (I just left there). I remember they sounded very rich to the point of boomy/muddy; the rear port TL really just a deep slot (I think).
Too late tonight to audition, but I tried taking measurements -- TL more sophisticated than I had thought and needed some guesswork on inner dimensions. Drawing to scale in mm. Slot 10x145 opening, ~15x145 cross-section; 10mm of disintegrated foam at the mouth. The inner two TL boards probably thinner than 15 used everywhere else. 10mm radius round-over except bottom.

I listened to the Duet today and here are my thoughts. Rear ported so keep away from wall. Tweeter should be listened to on-axis and not raised ear-height (sloped to point too high), otherwise a bit dark and lost too much incisiveness/detail/imaging/air. But the sloped baffle for time offset should be kept, assuming the XO ensured alignment which must be designed and tested. I experimented with different head height and head tilt to arrive at this conclusion, namely head straight but above tweeter so as to be on-axis for the intended listening distance.

The Duet soft cone & dome had easy-to-like fuller sound but less inner clarity at all frequency than harder membrane drivers or SOTA like Textreme/Be. Frequency response judged by ear to be quite good if on-axis; TL rear port contributed mostly 35-55hz, output as loud as the driver front at 47hz. Auditioned in a large space far from walls.
