I cannot get ppanel to work through rca input, have already tried holding select, and +arrow, -arrow, both arrows, no life, I was wondering of anyone else has seen this, also I checked specs on pwer supply and 32w is correct and fan comes on, appears to be working ok, also the remote and pwer supply that came with unit, are for a qa1200, has anyone tried using their remote with different model, tried selecting input menu, reset, no response, no splash screen, tried vcr, pc(s-rca convertor) dvd
but I don't have a pc cable to try that input yet will make asap, just wondering if anyone has any answers to these questions, also if you have a qa1500 and want to sell a copy of your manual, I'd pay(or if you could relay any tips that would be ok too)

open your panel using a screwdriver. open it slowly and carefully. look at the cable connections between the lcd and the circuit boards. make sure and press the connectors in. try again. sharp panels have a propensity to"unplug" after a while. I bought three different "broken" lcds for super cheap online, and all there was wrong was loose connections.

took the panel apart(wow this thing is nice!!)
took the panel apart, and might I say, as compared to the 3 other panels I have taken apart this one is made 2times better, all the electronics are setup in an orderly style, and the fans are different also, I couldn't find any connectors loose, but it was really cool to look at the engineering that went into this unit, at this point, I would recommend sharp's panels over any other, just because you can see quality in the circuit board, components, and even the wiring is organized, and the plastic case itself is more rugged.(the ask does block all light and fit better on the overhead though)

I think if I make the pc cable it should work fine, fans pwer up and led indicator comes on fine(did also get to clean dust of the lcd, and glass, the glass on the bottom if this is double paned!
