Hi all, very new so be kind to me! I'm trying to restore into working condition a Pioneer M90 (Reference Series) power amp and I've a few questions, my local voltage is 240V 50Hz:
The voltage selector has melted! can I go from 0V to 120V to Ov and 240V to the other tap??
How can I find out which taps are which as there is a thermal fuse shown on the drawing, and there are eight taps shown on the drawing and only seven actual taps physically with another single purple wire coming from underneath the transforme
Any help would be great, the amp arrived with me in this state with no wires from fuse assembly or transformers!
Thanks in advance
Steve

Pioneer M90 Power Amp Voltage Selector
Hi there, did you ever get an answer about the mains wiring for the Pioneer M90 power amp ? I have one here where the voltage selector switch has fallen apart and the center is missing. I cant quite see the logic of how it works. I have downloaded several schematic diagrams but none of these shows the wiring for this model. This model is switchable for 110, 120, 220 and 240 volts AC. The 2 mains transformers have 7 taps plus a purple wire that comes out of the lower section. I know that the purple wire connects through an internal fuse or internal thermal fuse but cant see how the logic of the rest of the wiring works. Do you have a schematic for this version of the amplifier that you could email to me ? Regards, Warren Huck
