Hi there,
I have a quick question: Can I safely interchange the 6 TL072CN op amps in my Eden WT-550 bass amp for 6 TLE2072CP?? Would I need to modify something or can I just pull the old ones out and the new ones in??
If you know I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to risk ruining my amp.

The TLE2072 is a drop-in replacement for the TL072. I've done the same in my SWR WM12 amp, no problemes whatsoever.
sound?
Probably depends on your hearing, if you have like Golden Ears (GE).
Even TL072 and TLE2072 are so good op-amps
we can have doubt they add any distortion above hearing threshold level.
Regarding electronical parameters TL2072 should be an upgrade
at least this is what these tells:

IMO yes, it does sound better. More open, transparent. Not a huge difference though, expect no miracles, but worth the money IMO.
