Help please! LM3886DR build not working
Hello fellow diy'ers. I am currently at a loss as I can't figure out what's wrong with my lm3886dr build. No signal coming out of the amps at all. I've got 32v at the power connectors at the amps. I'm pretty sure the caps were installed correctly. So what else do I have to test? My pre amp was tested with another amp and it worked just fine.

I suggest you post schematics for the boards, or references to where they can be found. Also a diagram of exactly how you wired it together would help.
At first glance, it seems as there are only two wires from the power supply board to each amp board. There should be three: +, -, ground.

What have you done with mute signal ? How is it connected ?
According to one of my versions it should be connected to B- through a 22K resistor.

That was exactly it. The amps were grounded but I had completely forgotten to ground the PSU output. Now I feel quite dumb but al least everything works haha. Thanks mate!
You're always welcome to email me directly if you get stuck with your Neurochrome builds. Just take my user ID here and add @neurochrome.com.
I'm glad you got the amp working, though.
It looks like you're missing some connector pieces for the outputs of the amp. You really don't want to run with just the crimp terminals jammed into the mating connectors. Molex P/N: 171692-0202 is what you want. Mouser has ~2400 in stock at the moment (Mouser P/N: 538-171692-0202).

Thank you Tom!
The missing connectors somehow did not ship using your bill of materials. It may be they were out of stock or the number simply changed. Anyways, I managed to find the model I needed and did another order at Mouser along other stuff I needed.
