Help please with DIY speaker for Creek 4330 clone.

Hi. I am now in a process of cloning Creek 4330 and I also wonder what would be a decent choice of the speakers. I would like to make them by myself too. I prefer something not very big (maybe bookshelf size).
My plan is to order the routing and sawing of the casing (MDF plate?). I own a hand router and I know how to work with it but I don’t want all the dust it makes 😊
I would love to hear any suggestions on the topic.
PS. If it is better to have multiway speakers so be it.

In summary, you would prefer full-range drivers in a bookshelf format.

I'll give your thread a nudge by appending the amplifier specs:

The Creek 4330 that you are cloning has "a continuous output of 40W/8ohm and a prodigious 19.5A current reserve. A massive 370W dynamic peak output is available into a 1 ohm load. This gives it the ability to control very difficult speaker loads".

there are many options you can do with a fullrange driver, some are here on this site:

Some i would consider are the Mar-Ken10 or the Classic Golden Ratio Mar-Ken10.3/10p if you want a bookshelf. But they are not the only valid options. I would not use a design with less than 85dB sensivity altough (those i mentioned are above that) so it can get loud enough.

And don't use mdf, birch ply is much better (stiffer, better to work on) and will last longer as it does not get affected by humidity.

But if you google arround, many options exist, fullrange and multiway. That amp is 40 watt so it should work with a lot of speakers.
