Help on choosing cabinets for corners

Oh well, soffit mounting was going to be my suggestion as it solves most of the reflection problems, though the soffit vent in the corner would keep them from being truly corner loaded.

The vent will limit the height of any free standing design, but if otherwise rectangular columns that fit hard up against the side and rear walls with multiple angled baffles don't pose a woodworking problem, then the drivers can still be mounted up fairly high, angled down and toe’d in as required.

Well, the main angle would be for toe-in like NHT did on some of its floor standers: http://www.stereophile.com/images/archivesart/99nht331.jpg

The second angle that tilts the driver down would only be up where it is unless there's enough space to just tilt the whole baffle down, which for obvious reasons would also require some ballast in the cab's bottom.
