can one of you gents help a geriatric out please because something's not right

pictured are the rear connections from the Lumley handbook -

the rear of my Sonus Fabre speakers (connected)

the rear of the Lumney monoblocks (connected)

and the Lumney schematic diagram (dont know where I got this from so possibly not 100%)

these monoblocks are not sounding as they should on the speakers - new valves all round

so I swap the red and orange pair from the third top row connector to the first one ?
and on the monoblock I would have thought the wires should not be paired but use 4 of the monoblocks connections - i.e. post 1 & 2 on top row and posts 1 & 2 on bottom row - please tell me why that is not right - thank you

next problem I have got a Cabasse Jupiter sub woofer - what do I wire this into? and on the sub woofer there are only three cables connected - one pair of wires has had one wire cut and taped up - I had this off a neighbour and this cable came with it

Yes.

I would have thought so too. However, paralleling the cables on the outside of the amp will not be much different from paralleling on the inside.
