BTW. If my last tip should nok make things good. I would pull out the MUR diodes, They are the reason for the melt down when the bias got to hot.

Those diodes are the reason? Would you explain please?

I've said it before. And i will say it agein. Just drop the diodes. there is no use for them. wel. the amp can dra some more peak current. but what about your source? can that deliver that amount of voltage gain? and is the dynamic range of the recoring that good? No it's not. Just drop the diodes. It's better to just play with the bias current according the heatsinks. A lot less risk. A lot more gain. and no burning amp :)

All good folks. Definitely was the extra thermistor. Thanks to
You all. The internet is an amazing thing. Never would
Have figured that out on my own.

The F5 turbos sound incredible. And that is an understatement.

Audiosan, all props my friend.

Thank you!!!! So happy right now. Even my wife, who is never impressed by anything audio related, said, wow, these sound great!
