Help needed: IT hum

I suspect that the type 82 and 83 that were used in some AM and shortwave radios generated less RF.
The maximum voltage to the plate was 450Vrms.
The secondary voltages were relatively low, and if necessary there probably were parts added to reduce the RF.

The 866A with up to 7,000Vrms from the transformer, and up to 10,000 peak inverse volts, will almost certainly create more RF voltage.
This rectifier was used in shortwave Transmitters, and industrial equipment. They probably were not used in shortwave receivers.

Just the scale of voltages, 7000 versus 450 is enough to make you keep your distance from the 866A. (23.8 dB).
