I am about to go ahead with my DIY project, which will basically be to align 12 Pyle PLG15 subs in dipole enclosures.

They will be driven by a Behringer Europower 2500 amplifier, I still need to check what EQ I will be getting but I am also purchasing the Behringer Feedback Destroyer.

I'm not an audio professional ( 😡 ), so I need some help in some calculations for the sound these will be producing.

Take room size as approximately 6m in length, 6m in width and 2.75m in height.

I would like to know approximately what Hz and SPL these subs as a unit will be able to put out 🙂

If any more information is needed then please just ask!!

Cheers in advance

Hi

Dipole subwoofers need good amount of X-max , which is not the case with these pyle drivers. Moreover these drivers are ment more towards car audio rather than home. With a 38Hz Fs they will not produce good deep bass inside your room. These drivers relly on cabin gain to reproduce deep bass inside a car.
For any calculation help please post the TS parameters.

They are rated at 90 dB at 2.83V.
You have 12 drivers so about 100 dB at 2.83V.

I assume you will wire them to get around 4 ohms, I get 5.33 ohms here, you could also wire them to get a 3 ohms load...

So you have 1800W to work with.

You'll get 130+ dB in the midbass.
I guess you will get around 110+ dB at 20 Hz?
