Hi All,
I'm swapping out some generic caps for something a touch better.
My caps to replace are as follows:
Square/Maroon
Film Caps
Lettering on Cap-- "224J" followed by underneath that line, "L250"
Am I correct to read this as:
Capacitor Code - 224J, meaning 22 x 10 to the 3rd power, and J = 5% tolerance
This would mean this cap is a .22uF capacitor rated to 250 volts at 5% tolerance?
Thank you much for chiming in. I thought I would check before I cause some damage. 🙂

Thank you!! That's a good idea to up the voltage tolerance. I'm also going to see what I can fit in there--right now they are tiny little guys. It's going to require some creative installation!
