Ok here is the Deal. I bought a Proxima DP5600 off ebay for a Really good price of 60 bucks, he told me that the Bulb was bad, Ok no problem i will find another one and Replace it, well the Bulb is not the Problem, The Ballast is. It will try to Start the Bulb but all i get is a Hissing Sound. Most likly a Cap going out or out, Ok i have 2 Options that i can Choose,

1: Buy a Pulse Start Ballast for a 250W Metal Halide Bulb for 60 Bucks and rig ( ****** :cop: racist text censored by moderator team) ( Sorry DIY LOLOL) something on the Out side of the Projector to Hold the Bulb.

2: Find a Cheap Ballast for a Proxima and try to wire it in.

Well i when for the 2nd one, Wrong Move.

Here is the Problem now. I got a 150W Ballast off ebay for a Proxima DX2, for 9 Bucks and Working. I cant Figure this wiring out.

There is 2 Pices to this and 3 Computer Boards.

1 the Main power input that must Reduce the Voltag or something

2 this board has 1 Connector with about 12 pins that must go to the Main board to Supply Power to Operate the Board

3 the Board that has the Ballast on it that Drives the Bulb.

Ok on the 3rd Board there is 5 Wires, Pretty Simple Right , Wrong.

There is 2 Big ones, Brown and Blue, One is marked + the Other is marked -, The problem with these is that i dont no what the Voltage and if it is DC or AC, I dont see any Bridge Diodes in this system to Change the AC to DC.

There is 3 other Wires in a Connector also Brown, Red, Black, These are about 16-18G wires Pretty small.

I just need a Diagram or Something to Figure out how to Hook this Ballast up to my DP5600. Or how i can use this to Make a Power Supply for a 120W or 150W Bulb, Witch i have both of these the 120W is a UHP and woudl rather use it instead of the 150W or 250W.

Or if anyone noes what is wrong with the Stock 250W board or even a Diagram for it that would be great

Here is some of the Numbers off everthing

Main Unit Proxima DP5600
Main Unit Power Board has a Few Numbers
MCL-3-67, or JC1-DIS, or 1AA4B10C0930A

ok on the new power supply here are the Numbers on it

Ballast Board
TD-T52V, or LC904-4001A, or 94V-0, or PHG151G8 or on the HV out put there is LC904-9001 and 23VOZK

:att'n: SAFTEY WARNING!!!!! :att'n:

Projector ballasts must be of the right spec for the given bulb used. Failure to do so may contain a serious voltage and fire threat to human life.

This operation should only be carried out buy a fully trained personel!!!
