Not sure what this means, are you referring to using a controller as refrenced above.
Sorry, I missed this.
I meant put the drivers back-to-back so they're on opposite sides of the box, with a box so small that the magnets are physically pushed against each other. That will provide some bracing, and mean the box itself doesn't vibrate.
You'd need a lot of power to shift the cones, but you'd have a ~12" cube with a decent amount of output capability and as much low-end extension as you want.
