Help me to find an IGBT alternative

yeah you have to know what to look for, spend time investigting. IRG4PC30U is an old IRF part they say their 4th generation, but thats 20+ years ago, so you would think parts have improved alot since then. there is the physical, TO-247 pin out to match and then the electrical specs. IRG4PC30U is a fast switcher so you have to compare the parts to select ones that are just as fast, turn on voltages the same etc.
Here is a start, 270 to choose from 🙂 now look at the IRG4PC30U specs and compare switching tables etc.

Good luck lets see where you get to

Digi-key has a better search engine, more parameters in the selction filters, narrow it down to 73 choices 🙂 all in stock
I remember before pdf, we had a room full of data books on shelves, the sales folks would drop by and hand us the newest sets.
At the time the Philips library was the largest.

When choosing a new one, just make sure it isn’t any harder to drive than the original. Anything modern will likely have better effective conduction losses. You just don’t want to add extra switching losses that weren’t there before. Basically, too big is too big (too much Qg).

Thanks guys but i can't afford other burned parts.I need to be shure for the suitable IGBT.
Any time that is burned,i must replace IR2153 and a lot of small signal transistors, like drivers, protection e.t.c.
I have spent a lot of time and about to 250€ up to now.
Pcb isn't at a very good condition too
Two many soldering desoldering attempts.
I am disappointed from the infineon.
After live chat, registration e.t.c ,e.t.c no real help.
I will wait Mouser's answer. ..if any.
Thanks again!

Here is the test procedure. The soft start is a NTC thermistor 12ohm .The relay short the thermistor when a voltage is present in the secondary.
Smps work fine when a lamb is connected in series with the main.Smps burned immediately when connected directly to the main

Low power isn't the case as i have measured the A.C volt after the bulb and this was 220V.
Output voltage was +/-45V &+/-35V too,as in the schematic.
I tend to believe that is the startup of the IGPT.The one in the schematic is an ultra high speed.Resonant mode switching up to >300khz.
Unfortunately i haven't tried to short the bulb without main disconnection.
It isn't any waveform in schematic diagram,so i haven't some to compare.
I haven't any handheld scope too.
I don't want to ended up with a burned scope.

I have an idea.
Circuit around IR2153 is isolated from the main as the power supply is via a transformer.
I will try to power the trafo only, then i can scope at the output of IR2153.
I think that waveforms will be somewhere different than those from a full functional smps.
I don't know what this test would or wouldn't offer...

Not at the IR2153 - at the gates directly. If for some reason the driver transistors aren’t sucking the charge out like they are supposed to….. Check for blown diodes and resistors at the gates. I’ve seen the diode get blown, and it tries to work through the resistor (unsuccessfully at high current). Or the PNP quits entirely and turn-off gets REALLY slow. Test every damn one of those components out of circuit. Or just change them all.

Thanks,i will check again and i will change those as soon as i will have an answer from Mouser.
I received this.
"Good morning
Thank you for your email and request.

I have already entered a tech investigation in our system, you will receive updates on this inquiry as soon as possible.
Don’t hesitate contacting us for further inquiries."
Best regards,

Today I got luckier and have an answer via chatbot.infineon.com
However now i must cover all the cases carefully.
The drivers 2SC2655Y AND 2SA1020Y are both obsolute-not available.
I bought some from a local store but i can't trust those. The one have the stamp 2SC2655Y and the other 2SA1020.
I used them in one of the unsuccessful attempts.
In another unsuccessful attempt i used this ZXGD3004E6TA gate drivers.https://gr.mouser.com/ProductDetail/522-ZXGD3004E6TA
In both attempts, smps was functional when bulb limiter used and failed immediately when connected directly to the main.
Suggestions please.
